Since our last update, the following businesses have been confirmed as having fallen into administration. All dates indicate when the administration was announced and not necessarily the dates on which administrators were appointed.
Scotpharm (MNA) Limited and MSLNA Healthcare Limited - September 15
Scotpharm (MNA) Limited and MSLNA Healthcare Limited, a pair of Glasgow-based pharmacy operators, fell into administration earlier this month, with James Stephen, Danny Dartnaill and Benjamin Peterson of BDO appointed as joint administrators.
Scotpharm (MNA) Limited is a group trading as Dears Pharmacy while MSLNA Healthcare Limited was established to capitalise on an opportunity to acquire 10 former Lloyds Pharmacy outlets across Fife and Lothian. Together, the two companies are linked to 22 Scottish high street pharmacies.
In accounts for the period from July 31 2023 to October 30 2024, Scotpharm (MNA) Limited reported turnover of £26.6 million, up from around £19.1 million in the preceding year. Operating losses, however, widened from approximately £795,000 to £1.7 million.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at around £17.9 million and current assets at £9.3 million, while net liabilities totalled £2.4 million.
In the same period, MSLNA Healthcare Limited’s fixed assets were valued at around £9.5 million and current assets at approximately £1.7 million, while net liabilities totalled close to £521,000.
Creoate Limited - September 16
Creoate Limited, a London-based online wholesale market for independent brands, fell into administration last month, with Grace Jones and Rishi Karia of Parker Andrews appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to March 31 2025, the company’s assets were valued at approximately £20.9 million, with net assets totalling £9.8 million.
Singular Homes Limited - September 16
Singular Homes Limited, a Leeds-based housing and development company, fell into administration earlier this month, with Lindsay Cooper and Ed Connell of Armstrong Watson appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to September 30 2025, the company’s fixed assets were valued at close to £51,000 and current assets at £3.7 million, with net assets totalling around £8,000.
Medicare EMS Group UK Limited - September 18
Medicare EMS Group UK Limited, a Chelmsford-based provider of event medical services, fell into administration last week, with Dominik Thiel-Czerwinke and Louise Baxter of BTG Begbies Traynor appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to December 31 2024, the company reported turnover of around £15.4 million, down from around £15.9 million a year earlier, but recovered from an operating loss of approximately £536,000 to report a profit of £1.1 million.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at £5.9 million and current assets at £3.7 million, while net assets totalled slightly over £543,000.
Brewery Sapphire Limited, The Old Lyric Hall Limited and Terrace Ruby Limited - September 21
Brewery Sapphire Limited, The Old Lyric Hall Limited and Terrace Ruby Limited, real estate companies based at the same address in Barrow-in-Furness, with Joe Allen and Steven Williams of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators of all three businesses.
In accounts for the year to November 30 2025, Brewery Sapphire Limited’s fixed assets were valued at around £2.5 million and current assets at close to £31,000, with net assets totalling slightly under £1.2 million.
In the year to May 31 2025, The Old Lyric Hall Limited’s fixed assets were valued at £1.4 million and current assets at around £37,000, with net liabilities of £16,000.
In the year ending October 31 2025, Terrace Ruby Limited’s fixed assets were valued at £1.7 million and current assets at approximately £95,000, with net liabilities totalling around £1,800.
