A shopping centre in Sheffield is set to be put up for auction with a guide price of £5.8 million. The Broomhill Shopping Centre is located close to the University of Sheffield and is occupied by major tenants including Sainsbury’s, Boots, Costa, Morrisons, Luke’s Hospice, Barnardo’s and the RSPCA.
The shopping centre will feature in Allsop's commercial auction on 7 October 2026. The centre generates current rental income of £539,193 per annum, while offering a number of asset management opportunities. With the guide price standing at £5.8 million, the investment provides a 9.3 per cent gross initial yield.
Situated on Fulwood Road (A57), close to the junction with Whitham Road, the Broomhill Shopping Centre serves a mix of local residents and the sizeable student population clustered around the area and provides good access to local amenities and transport links.
The freehold shopping centre extends to just under 40,000 sq ft, comprising 12 shops, two supermarkets/convenience stores, rooftop parking for around 65 cars and rear servicing facilities.
David Margolis, partner at Allsop Commercial Auctions, said: "We expect considerable interest in The Broomhill Shopping Centre, which is well located and connected, with a strong mix of national occupiers and established local tenants. It also offers attractive asset management opportunities. Assets of this scale and quality rarely come to market."
