Burley Manor Hotel, a grade II-listed country house hotel in the New Forest, has been put up for sale at a guide price of £8.5 million. Dating back to 1852, the hotel comprises 41 guest bedrooms, wedding and event lawns, a “Shepherd’s Hut Suite”, self-contained banqueting suite, heated outdoor swimming pool and staff accommodation.
Set within around six acres of landscaped gardens and grounds in the village of Burley, the hotel is located approximately 20 minutes from the M27 motorway. In addition to the existing rooms, planning permission has been secured for two additional bedrooms and five garden suites.
The hotel sees strong year-round occupancy from a mix of leisure and corporate customers, including luxury countryside tourism, visitors to the South Coast, private celebrations and corporate meetings and retreats.

They stated that Burley Manor Hotel’s profitable trading performance, strong reputation and scope for further repositioning meant that strong interest was expected in the sale process.
