A technology consultancy based in Worcestershire has been acquired by an acquisitive French group, with the deal significantly expanding the buyer’s presence in the UK and Ireland.
Droitwich-based ModusForce specialises in human capital management, with a focus on Dayforce and Dayforce HCM consulting, payroll and workforce management. The company provides advisory, implementation, change, optimisation and support services, using a practical, delivery-focused approach to help clients maximise value.
The company has been acquired by Paris-headquartered HR Path, a global leader in HR consulting and HRIS solutions, in a deal described as a significant milestone in the group’s growth.
HR Path has a presence in 34 countries, with a team of around 2,900 professionals, and specialises in advisory, implementation and operational services. The group, which was founded in 2001, provides businesses with cutting-edge solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and fostering growth.
As well as expanding its UK and Ireland presence, the acquisition of ModusForce reinforces the group’s leadership in the HR industry, with ModusForce’s specialised focus on Dayforce complementing its ambition to drive organisational growth through HR solutions.
The deal strengthens HR Path’s ability to provide deeper Dayforce expertise covering HCM, workforce management and payroll across the entire UK and Ireland market, building on the group’s previous acquisitions in the region.
In 2024, HR Path acquired UK-based Workday specialist Three Plus Consulting, followed in 2025 by the acquisitions of Northern Ireland-based Workday integration and HR technology services specialist IntSys and Ireland and UK-based consulting specialist Eaton Square.
Combined with the acquisition of ModusForce, these strategic deals are described as having ensured the group has a comprehensive presence and delivery capability throughout the UK and Ireland.
